Bryan Cranston Visits Chamber Magic
November 18, 2024

Bryan Cranston visited Chamber Magic and we had great “chemistry” together.
Earlier this year we met at an industry party thanks to a mutual friend. Bryan knew I was a magician and when he introduced himself, he pulled a quarter from my ear. “What’s that behind your ear?!”
Aaron Paul went bananas when I showed them magic. Like jumping up and down with his eyes bugging out. Bryan was more skeptical.
This past weekend I was excited to learn that Bryan Cranston, his wife, and our mutual friend reserved tickets to Chamber Magic at the Lotte New York Palace. I am a massive Breaking Bad fan, having watched the entire series four times. Getting a chance to entertain the man who brought Walter White to life was both surreal and invigorating.

After the show Bryan and his group stayed for while, and he shared some great stories including his own experience of performing magic on stage during a production of Shakespeare.
As a nice gift, Bryan’s mezcal company sent two bottles of Dos Hombres to me at The Palace. I will definitely be serving that to my audience in future performances of Think-a-Drink!

By the way here is a photo of one of my most prized possessions – a Breaking Bad script of my favorite episode, signed by Vince Gilligan, Aaron Paul, and Bryan Cranston. I also have some Better Call Saul advertising matchbooks used on the show, a Breaking Bad cashmere scarf, and medallions presented to the crew upon wrapping the series in Albuquerque. Thank you Vince!
